Surgeonfish Predators

When one of their players is attacked a group of surgeonfish players swarm the predator and attack with their tail.

Surgeonfish tangs are among the most popular saltwater aquarium fish due to their beauty generally non offensive behavior and forgiving requirements. The predators of the blue tang surgeon fish are snapper grouper jacks and barracuda. A fish that eats seaweed is a beta fish or a dolphin etc.

Surgeonfish also known as the doctorfish or tang is a tropical reef fish that has bladelike spines knives on their sides near the tail which can inflict deep lacerations cuts. They erect the sharp spines in an effort to make themselves harder to swallow or to inflict injury on their predators. Other common monikers for regal tangs include blue tangs blue surgeonfish royal blue tangs and palette tangs. The distinctive characteristic of the family is that they have scalpel like modified scales one or more on either side of the peduncle of the tail.

Surgeonfish are a perciform build which get their name from their tail caudal spine which they use to defend against predators.
